Xterra is a geospatial systems engineering and software development small company founded in 2002 that specializes in the integration of GIS products including ESRI (ArcGIS, ArcIMS, ArcSDE), Skyline, MapInfo and Object/Relational Database Management Software (Oracle, SQLServer). Xterra offers software development capabilities that encompass the full lifecycle from requirements analysis and design through testing, implementation, and operational maintenance support.
Xterra specializes in DHS and DoD geospatial and imagery systems architecture design, project management, database management, and web-based application development. Xterra utilizes rapid prototyping tools to demonstrate significant system alternatives, and to quickly promote an idea into operational usage, most recently with our web-deployed software for Situational Awareness for the DHS Transportation Security Agency. Current customers include DHS (CBP, S&T), US Army Topographic Engineering Center, US Marines, National Geospatial and Imagery Agency, and US Navy.
